The lowzoom layers are looking better than ever. The latest version of tile stitching is producing nice sharp roads with good contrast.
However, the captions that are being incorporated seem to have lost their white casings, which makes them look a bit thin and weedy. Was this intentional or is there some problem with the compositing of the captions onto the tiles? Compare this, which is a zoom 10 view of South East England: http://www.informationfreeway.org/?lat=51.191346828421345&lon=0.7254748387999325&zoom=10&layers=B000F000F With this, which is the same, but with the transparent caption layer overlaid: http://www.informationfreeway.org/?lat=51.19134682842132&lon=0.7254748387999325&zoom=10&layers=B000F000T To me, the second one is an improvement (arguably the best result is somewhere between the two). 80n
