Actually something went wrong with OSMXAPI, client just didn't know about it. I've tried the same request and it downloaded data fine. But it failed later because one of the downloaded files wasn't complete.
The same happened with simple wget. It just a bit random, sometimes you get all data, sometimes you get truncated data.
