If you plan to do that, please always keep in mind that people are using ti...@home for the generation of differently styled local slippy maps as well. In such a context the styles must not be updated. It would also be wrong to assume that the running copy of t...@h is actually an SVN working copy, and it would be wrong to assume that the user under which the program is running has write access to binaries or styles. (I think this assumption is made at the moment, and nobody has complained much, but that doesn't make it a sensible design decision.)
