Is there any system behind the caption colors in the current osmarender
styles?
I found the following colors:
red(#ec2d2d): lighthouse, pub, cafe, railway_halt (and other railway types)
pink(#ff00ff): cinema, theatre
blue(#4040ff): everthing else
rose(#f2caea): tourism=attraction,
While the cinema, theatre group makes sense, the first one doesn't.
I would propose one of the following:
- Make all captions the same color (boring)
- Create groups that share a common property, e.g.
culture: cinema, theatre, library, arts_centre
food&drinks: pub, cafe, restaurant, fast_food, pub, beergarden
public buildings: schools, police, townhall
tourism: ...
Basically the groups from josm.
The groups could also be somewhat larger, e.g. food&drinks + accomodation
(often found in combination) so we only get a small number of different
groups.
Also something I find quite annoying is the often too large icon-caption
distance.
Does anyone have objections agains changing these two things?
