Hi.

it's been quite a while since "Ulm" came out, and Sebastian and I
decided it was time to put out a new version.

To switch to the new version, "Vizag", use the svn switch command[1]

Many changes have already creeped in with Ulm autoupdate, but Vizag
makes them sort-of official.

The biggest change, and that's why the move to Vizag is still sort-of
optional is that the client now visually checks font rendering examples
to detect wrong and missing fonts.

Currently it checks for Chinese, Japanese, Hindu, Telugu, and of course
latin script. (This will be extended in the future.)

The client also uses tileset uploads almost exclusively, with the added
bonus of not having to check the serverside queue when in tileset mode.

Furthermore the auto-update of the client is now *optional*, but if you
decide to not auto-update your client will exit loop mode the instant it
detects a mandatory client update, because we don't want stale cliens to
mess up the osmarender layer. If you use the client for offline
rendering only, you now don't need to worry about that anymore.

The new client also has support for localFile mode, this was introduced
in "Ulm" but is now refined to a level where it works lowzoom, too.

New in the client since a couple of weeks is the localtesting.conf, but
that has been written about already here on the mailing list.

The other features that made it into Ulm already I won't list here, feel
free to ask about your pet feature on this list or on IRC.
