The NRC web site still shows the October 2006 announcement about
     the April 1
     deadline.

Subject: [time-nuts] CHU 7.335MHz saved or lost?
     >From October till last week, CHU broadcasts on 7.335MHz noted
that the station must either relicense, change frequency, or cease
operations on April 1 2007. I listen this morning and no longer
hear this notice. Does this mean that CHU has been saved from
the chopping block on this frequency? If so, great!
     Tim.
