Hi Richard: Sure, OnStar is a combination of GPS and a cell phone. My Honda van has GPS but I don't have a clue where the antenna is. I expect that's the case with the Buick, i.e. the antenna is concealed and who knows where the GPS receiver is located.
If you do remove the GPS I sure would like to know where the cables go from the GPS receiver. I have an idea for a movie related to OnStar.
