I have a number of RF mixer modules mounted in junk microwave IF converter blocks. They are labeled "MLP-102" in either KDI or EMCO brands, circa mid-1980s date codes. I'm planning to use some for a project, but can't find any info or anything even close on these apparently obscure units. I have the pinout figured out from the boards, but no specifications. I need to know how they are at 1 GHz.

The RF and LO ports are probably good to 1.5 GHz, with a DC coupled IF port. They were used to up/down convert an IF around 1.2 GHz from/to 70 MHz IF. They are packaged in those little rectangular metal cans like the common Mini-circuits SRA-1 style.

Does anyone have info on these parts? Or on EMCO or KDI (same as the resistor company, I think) RF product lines?

Ed
