Hi Silicon Germanium is one of the materials that have pretty high 1/f noise corners. The part probably works quite well for fast edges. I would not expect it to do a very good job on lower frequency / slower speed stuff. I certainly would not expect it to do well in a DMTD type setup at 1 to 10 Hz sine wave..
