Some of them have a setting where you can specify a minimum elevation angle. 10 degrees is reasonable. So nothing within 10 deg. of the horizon is used. I don't think WAAS is going to help with 150ft jumps. It is more for "fine tuning" What you really need to do is spend $20 on a timing mode GPS, even an older Motorola Oncode has a self survey and fixed location mode.
