I bought a 5370B TI counter which arrived today. It needs a bit of TLC, but nothing too bad. But one of the rotary knobs is incomplete. Does anyone have a spare knob? Contact me off list if you do.

I had one of these things about 10 years ago. I have forgotten how to drive it.

It is running very warm. I can hold my fingers on the heatsink for only a couple of seconds - not a very scientific test I must admit.

Obviously the mains voltage varies a bit, but it is usually well over the 230 VAC we are supposed to be. I just measured it at 248 VAC. Unfortunately I'm right on top of the 11 kV transformer, so other properties around me probably get poorer voltage regulation, but a few less volts.
