Concerning 1PPS, hanging bridges & such items, you might want to look at
the Timing/VLBI papers that Rick Hambly & I have produced over the years
and which we have archived on https://GPSTime.com . The Sawtooth &
Hanging Bridges effects are described in excruciating detail in the "Low
Cost, High Accuracy" paper from the 2000 ION meeting. And the software
and hardware fixes are described in the later VLBI TOW (every 2 years)
presentations.
