I use a GPSDO as my lab standard and as the reference for my Freq Counters.
I have another "Box" I picked up that will accept a 10 MHz signal from my GPSDO and provide frequencies at 72.5, 725 and 7,975 MHz that are locked to the GPSDO. After sufficient warm-up I was surprised to see the FA-2 would count the 7,975 MHz signal (accurately).
