Chris Thanks for pointing the site out. I did take a listen at 10 MHz and would guess that instead of a nice steady carrier due to 10 MHz leakage, I hear 50 or 100 Hz hum modulating it. I also see lots of spurs that sound like a totally free running oscillator. The nasty type thats all over the place. I did look at other frequencies from 100 KHz to 25 MHz to see if anything popped out. Nothing really obvious. Regards Paul WB8TSL
