JPL said it shut down the Deep Space Atomic Clock last month after
running for more than double its planned one-year lifetime. The atomic
clock, a payload on the Orbital Test Bed spacecraft launched on the
STP-2 mission in June 2019, demonstrated the accuracy in timing needed
