Hooray! :-) I wasn't notified yet that it was already published, so you're really the first to tell me! And, of course, thanks for the compliments. As you probably can tell (the article doesn't mention the hand-over to Ask), there was some delay (of which I'm not entirely innocent, I have to admit) prior to publication, but that doesn't change the fundamental facts about the project. > For those that don't have access to the print edition, I thought I > could pass a web link along, but alas, it's not a public article > online, yet. LJ is very liberal about stuff being republished - I even retain the copyright on the article. Basically the only right they reserve is a 30 day exclusive publication right (ok, additionally, there are some other things like that they may do translations etc., but nothing unreasonable at all.) I expect they'll put the article online publically after that anyway, and/or I can also publish it on my homepage, or we publish it on www.pool.ntp.org, or Ask can use it as basis for some new content for the webpage. I'm with Ask: I'm really curious on how many new servers will now flood in... or how many 10000 users will now suddenly additionally configure their timeservers to use the pool. greetings -- vbi -- featured product: vim - http://vim.org
