Heh, thats great. I once new a guy that was into clocks (as well as computers) in the early '80's. He had loads of gimmicky clocks, like the ball bearing types with slides and balances etc., but his prize possession was a UK railway station clock - the one with the drop down number plates. It was about 4' across by 1' high and 1' in depth... and the bloody noise it made in his bedsit!!! he used to demonstrate it to people by setting to 23:59:59 so all the plates flapped together 00:00:00 - 60dB at least...
