If/when we have more than a dozen or so IPv6 capable servers then I'll consider changing the system to keep track of them and generate the necessary DNS records.

JFTR, we have one public IPv6 servers available:

ntp1.ipv6.lrz-muenchen.de (2001:4ca0:0:103:0:123:1:1)
Stratum 1 Meinberg NTP appliance running ntpd, synced with DCF77
Native Backbone, 4ms tunnel to the Upstream.

plus two others (each in another ISP) where I just need to compile the latest ntpd (the current one is broken when used on servers with more than one IPv6 address).
