Have a look at the "CSV log" linked to at the bottom of the page. Large
drops should only happen when your server is uncontactable (score step of
-5), but this reason is hard to see on the graph because it's a tiny
gap in the line. On the CSV log, however, it is obvious because the offset
field will be blank.
This information can also be found on the "Manage servers" page, but I
prefer the CSV log.
