I wouldn't have thought so. That's most likely the issue. My Netgear ADSL router (which runs busybox) requires some manual iptables frobbing from its debug shell in order to stop the packet load impacting service (if only I could find a way to disable iptables and connection tracking permanently on the thing; my main firewall is on a different BSD box).
