I think you'll find the comp.protocols.time.ntp newsgroup (also gated to some mailing list, but I don't remember where) has some people who are experts on this. (And, besides, the whole GPS receiver discussions are probably a bit off-topic on this list anyway... OTOH people interested in pool.ntp.org are often also interested in stratum 1 hardware, decent mailers offer a 'kill thread' function anyway for those who don't like these discussions, and the traffic on this list ist still very low, so YMMV. I say this as just another person on the list. As listmaster, I can only say that this list is not moderated and I'll not start moderating it.
