Hi, F.Y.I.: I heard from customersupport of KiSS technology that (at least their DVR558 harddisk recorder) their devices synchronize their clocks against pool.ntp.org when it does not get an ntp-server via dhcp (when dhcp is disabled for example). Shouldn't they have their own ntp-server for this? Or letting users configure an ntp-server themselves? (I suggested this to their customer support but maybe it helps if a ntp-pool representative asks this them too)
