(incidentally, I note that the revised growth target from Dec as per the web 
site seems to be over-optimistic, even the older one from Jan 06 is hard to 
meet...)

So, thanks for the /. story, this project needs the exposure!

Do all Linux/BSD distributions with pool.ntp.org as default server have an 
invitation to join the project in ntp.conf?  I know Debian does, but it's 
the only distro I use atm, so I don't know about the others.
