About 300000 using the default 2^10 s maximum polling interval. But
since 300 pps would be the peak, realistiaclly you could only probably
support half of that comforatably because of the randomness added to
the polling intervals. So call it 150000 clients.

300 packets/s is only about 216 kb/s of bandwidth in each direction.
