I've found that keeping netflow logs of all my incoming and outgoing
traffic involving udp/123 and quoting these records at complainants
tends to make the complaints go away rather quickly. This can be done
with only the use of free software if one desires.

The logfiles get fairly large but I've not found that I've needed to
refer to any that are more than two weeks old.
