After being on IV antiobiotics for a day, the doctors decided
it was time to operate on Dad's legs yesterday....

antiobiotics for a day, the doctors decided it was time to operate on
Dad's legs yesterday. They had a lot of infected fatty tissue they had
to clean out. They irrigated the wounds and then closed him back up.
He's resting comfortably now.</p>
<p>Allentown got a big snowstorm so he told Mother not to attempt the
drive to the hospital to visit. He needed his rest anyway. Dad will be
in the hospital for at least two more days so he can receive more
antibiotics.</p>
