I've joined a cult. It exists only on the internet and you have to get an invite from somebody who's already in the cult. Why would somebody like me want to get involved in something like this?
Well, it's a geeks only club. Only the cool geeks get invited to join. What's the cult I'm talking about? It's the people who have GMail accounts.
There's a lot of buzz going on out there about Google's e-mail offering. It comes with a huge amount of space and you don't have to file things in folders. You can supposedly find any old e-mail you want using Google's search technology.
I don't know how true this is, I don't have a large enough database yet. I'll post more when I know more.
BTW, check back here frequently if you'd like to get your own GMail account. As soon as I get invites I'll post a comment. Then you can request an invite in another comment.
