Overheard at a Kerry Campaign Rally

Hollywood brought out it's worst for a star studded gala at Radio City Music Hall.
"Anybody who could wave to Stevie Wonder isn't fully there, ... keep Bush where it belongs and not in the White House."—Whoopi
"[President Bush is] just another cheap thug that sacrifices young lives."—John
CougarMellancamp"I don't trust him, I don't like him and I think he's venal. ... This guy's as bright as an egg timer."—Chevy Chase
"I wondered to myself during 'Shock and Awe,' I wondered which of the megaton bombs Jesus, our President's personal savior, would have personally dropped on the sleeping families of Baghdad?"—Meryl Streep
"Tax cuts for wealthy thugs like me are criminal. I put my tax cut in my sock and buried it away. In November, let's sock it to them."—Paul Newman
"Are we going to continue to follow a self-serving regime of deceit, hypocrisy and belligerence? Or are we after four disastrous years going to take a step toward our true responsibility as leader of the free world?"
Mellencamp also referred to Bush as "the Texas Bandito." Reminds me of some of the name calling by a frequent commenter (you know who you are) to this site.
Did they say anything nice about John Kerry? That's usually what you do at a campaign rally, praise the guy you're supporting.
When will the Democrats and their media cronies denounce this kind of hateful campaigning? If you answer "never," you're probably right.
Hat tip to the Media Research Center.
