Over the next few weeks, I'll be highlighting Michael Badnarik's position on several important issues. Up first, gun control.
Gun Control Means Being Able to Hit your Target
If I have a "hot button" issue, this is definitely it. Don't even think about taking my guns! My rights are not negotiable, and I am totally unwilling to compromise when it comes to the Second Amendment.
I sincerely believe that statistical evidence supports the idea that crime increases exponentially wherever gun control is instituted as the governing policy. Washington DC, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles have the strictest gun control policies in the United States. The cities with the highest murder rates are Washington DC, New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles. It doesn't take a PhD to be able to draw the proper conclusion from this evidence.
Repealing unconstitutional gun control laws will be one of my first priorities as President of the United States.
