Iranian Judo Champ Refuses to Compete With Israeli

"Iranian world Judo champion Arash Miresmaeili was four pounds over the weight limit for his category at the 2004 Olympic Games -- leaving some to wonder if this was a deliberate move to avoid competing against Israeli Judoka Udi Vaks. The Iranian athlete has expressed his solidarity with the Palestinians."

It's a shame this guy is playing politics at the Olympics. It's supposed to be a time of world unity.
