'Me First,' Say Ohio Voters With AIDS
Voters with AIDS and disabilities should be moved to the head of the line at Ohio polling places, the AIDS Taskforce of Greater Cleveland insists.
How do the poll workers objectively decide who's sick enough to go to the head of the queue? Would a woman who's 9 months pregnant also qualify for preferential treatment? With all the opportunities for early/absentee voting, why do these people need preferential treatment on election day? Giving them special attention might discourage healthy voters from waiting in line.
