I'm used to the Panthers close games, but today was enough to give any fan a heart attack. They were down by 10 points with less than 4 minutes to go in the 4th quarter. Scored a field goal after a penalty-filled drive. The good news came when they stopped the Raiders with 3 and out. They got the ball back and tied it up 24-24 with over two minutes on the clock.
That was their mistake. They left too much time on the clock, and the Raiders still had 3 time outs left. It looked like the Raiders were going to score a touchdown, but they settled for a field goal. That was enough to seal the Panthers fate.
