For those of you who don't believe there's a left-wing bias in the media, here's a story about how they manufacture the news to make the Republican administration look bad.
We've all heard stories about military units being sent over to Iraq without adequate armor plating on their HMMMV's. Well, there's one reporter who wanted to report the story again, so he planted a soldier in the audience during a Q&A with Secretary Rumsfeld.
Before hand we worked on questions to ask Rumsfeld about the appalling lack of armor their vehicles going into combat have. While waiting for the VIP, I went and found the Sgt. in charge of the microphone for the question and answer session and made sure he knew to get my guys out of the crowd.
Then the reporter brags about it to the staffers in his newsroom. This isn't reporting, this is advancing a left-wing, anti-war political agenda. That's not what reporters are supposed to do.
