Panel Criticizes CBS's 'Myopic Zeal' in Bush National Guard Report
Four CBS News employees have been ousted in connection with CBS's flawed, inaccurate "September surprise" story questioning George W. Bush's National Guard service.
Well, they didn't realease this story at 5:00 on a Friday like some thought they would. (Which would mean it wasn't available for that night's news cycle and would be forgotten by Monday.) CNN didn't make a big deal out of it after announcing it as a breaking news story, but FOXNews went "wall-to-wall" with this story after it broke.
