A new entry titled 'Greatest Sitcom Characters Ever' has been posted to New Trommetter Times.

Dave Pell has posted his list of Greatest Sitcom Characters Ever. His list: Archie Bunker (All in the Family) Louie De Palma (Taxi) and Alex Rieger (never heard of him.)

My list:

  1. Raymond Barone (Everybody Loves Raymond)
This is one of the funniest shows on television. It's still going strong and consistently wins awards. In a lot of ways my life is just like Ramond's. (Marie's character was based on my Mother, I swear.)
  2. Norm Peterson (Cheers)
His list of "Normisms" makes him one of the funniest characters. For example, one day Norm walks into the bar and Sam says, "How's life treatin' you Norm." Norm responds, "Like a baby treats a diaper." Another example, Sam says, "What's shakin' Norm." His reponse, "Four cheeks and a coupla' chins."
  3. Adrian Monk (Monk)
While not strictly a sitcom, Monk is the funniest hour-long detective show on TV. Monk's phobias and compulsions make me laugh every time.
