I'd never been to a NASCAR event until last night. The idea of watching guys go real fast around a track again and again making only left turns doesn't excite me. But now I'm living in the heart of NASCAR country again.
Yesterday I bought a collectible pin to support some of the children's charities that various NASCAR drivers support. I got two free tickets to the NASCAR Nextel Pit Crew Challenge. I'm here in Charlotte without my family right now, so I decided to go check it out.
