NCAA puts ban on Indian mascots
The NCAA banned the use of American Indian mascots by sports teams during its postseason tournaments, but will not prohibit them otherwise.

These people must have been smoking some strong weed in their peace pipes. How could these mascots be offensive, they're chosen because of their strength. It's a compliment to use an American Indian as a mascot. If a mascot is offensive in the post-season, shouldn't it be offensive throughout the whole year? These people make no sense.
