I can't speak for everybody, but I don't see any problems here.  I
assume that MidityZ is a completely separate program, which does not share
any code, nor call any any libraries that are part of timidity.  I assume
that it simply executes the TiMidity++ executable with appropriate flags.
The name is suffiently different from TiMidity++ so as not to confuse
anybody.  I can't see how TiMidity++ can exert any copyright or
trademark issues on to a completely independent front end.  More GUI front
ends equals more choice for the user, which is a good thing.  Sounds good
to me.  Go for it!
