I don't know the specifics of the Jack interface, but the core mixing
routines in TiMidity mix all the individual MIDI channels down into
2-channel stereo prior to passing them any output interface.  I haven't
looked at the server code, so perhaps this is different now, but I'd guess
that TiMidity is probably passing pre-mixed 2-channel audio to jack, and
that there is no way to pass individual pre-mixed rendered MIDI channels
to jack, at least not without significant changes to the TiMidity source.
As I said, I'm not familiar with the server code or jack interface, so
someone familiar with the jack interface can correct me if I'm wrong here.
