OK, in my ongoing effort to get alternate tunings working as well as
possible in my project, I came across this (I think someone posted
this here, actually): http://www.midi.org/techspecs/midituning.php

Scroll down to "Single Note Tuning Change" which, as far as I can
tell, allows one to specify the frequency of any particular MIDI pitch
on the fly. Is this what it looks like to y'all? And more importantly,
does Timidity support this function?

I assume that Timidity use the Bulk Tuning Dump method for its tuning
tables so it certainly seems possible that it would support this as
well.

If it does then I'm halfway to a solution and would just need to
figure out how to get MIDI.lua
(http://www.pjb.com.au/comp/lua/MIDI.html ) to send the appropriate
command.
