Ah, ok thank Geoff, That was illuminating.
I guess I don't have it down yet, as I do not have any modules in the "uninstalled" section. So all the available account charts are installed - including l10n_chart_au. However, it can't be that all of the account charts are active simultaneously - certainly the listed accounts look like the ones that were installed by default. Additionally, the au module includes tax related functionality, so I guess there are ways to enable this also? Any further tips would be great.
