In Romania we have two codes we need to manage for Partners (companies) and two for Contacts (one similar to SSN, and a identity card type/serial number).
For companies the codes are: VAT ID (Tax ID) and Chambre of Commerce Registration Number (Licence number). I think that there are similar request on other countries but I've seen that only VAT id is recorded right now. There is an easy way of adding those attributes? Do I have to patch the sources? If so the changes will be included in the dev branch? It is possible to add those attributes in an optional module so i'll not have to worry on upgrades?
