I've the same problem here. I used this command:

tinyerp-server -d $DBNAME -r $DBOWNER -w $DBOWNERPASSWD \
     --save --stop-after-init \
     --init=all

where $DB... is set to the correct values.

If I leave of the '--stop-after-init', the xmlrpc server starts, but the client 
can not connect.
