Hello,

I have started using Cases in 4.0.3.  My cases are created and updated via 
email.

All seems to work pretty well, except closing a case.  If I hit the close 
button on a case, it reacts, but the case status doesn't alter.  The drop-down 
for status is grayed out, but I suspect that is intentional.

The history for the case shows a new entry each time I hit the close button, 
even though the case doesn't close.  I have just checked and "Pending" doesn't 
seem to work either.  There is a history item if I click pending, but the 
status doesn't change.

Any ideas?  Is there a constraint on who can close a case?  I am an admin, and 
the assignee.

As an aside, I have managed to close a case in the past, but it still appears 
in the "Unclosed" cases.  Only at that level, it doesn't appear in the Open, 
Pending or Draft shortcuts.  I suspect this is a bug.
