Emanuele, I wonder if you would mind setting out some more of the steps. I am sorry that this will cause you more work, but many people read these entries, and we all promise in turn to help new people once we know how!
So:- I have installed Ubuntu Feisty, and I know how to find a terminal. I don't know much more about Linux yet. Let's assume I want to load TinyERP 4.1 development version, because that is a slightly different case and people might be interested. I can find the 4.1 downloads on the TinyERP website. Where should I save them to on my system? You say " I installed the packages so to have all dependencies pulled in." Is that apt-get? Or the Synaptic Package Manager? I presume that deinstall happens in the same place? After that you said "just type: python2.4 tinyerp-server in the bin directory. " What does that mean? Do you mean "/bin/python2.4 tinyerp-server"? Any more hints gratefully received. Many thanks, Rhys _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman/listinfo/tinyerp-users
