Hello,

I'm looking into TinyERP and am liking very much what I'm see so far. There is one small issue that I'd like to bring to light here and that is PDF handling on my platform.

I run TinyERP on Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) under X11 using pkgsrc for my package management solution. Everything runs fine (if not a little slow on my particular hardware). What happens with regard to these PDF issues is some characters don't seem to come through okay. I've tried using these PDFs through both Xpdf and Mac OS X' Preview.app (default/standard PDF viewer) and these artifacts appear to be rendered this way and may be intrinsic to the PDFs. For example, the "o" of the word "No" appears as a degrees symbol and the "e" of "Tel" is accented on Purchase Order printed form even though we're localized as english/US.

There are also a few functional but non-optimal things like placement of things, layout, and incorrect formats for things like addresses and such that I'd like to correct so am wondering: is there a way to see the templates for these print-format PDFs? I'd read something briefly about using OpenOffice docs as templates but I'd rather not do that if there's a more direct way of editing templates (ie. how are the default templates generated?).

Any help or pointers would be great!

Thanks,
- Jesse
