Ok, I got the database to init and setup when starting the server by getting the database user and password correct in the conf file. I was also able to get rid of the Could not connect to server message by replacing my SimpleXMLRPCServer.py file (py 2.5) with the one from python 2.4.4. And now I am at the point where the client is showing this error: No database found, you must create one ! And I do not understand this message because when I login to postgresql the database is there, 'terp'. So what does this client want?
