Hi, We're evaluating TinyERP for use in the voluntary sector in the UK. What seems to be missing in the documentation to me is an introductory guide for setting it up with a business. The install was easy under Debian, and it even coped with our Vserver.
What I think is needed is the following... * Describe the business - maybe something like a consultancy that sells hardware occasionally, with two interlinked firms * A brief description of a few business processes - leads, in and out payments, etc. * Then a statement of the steps (and the order of the steps) to create the ERP for this business. This would bridge the gap between the user and developer manuals. Of course. I could be completely wrong, but what do people thinks? rgds, Richard Rothwell -- Richard Rothwell, [EMAIL PROTECTED] Education Consultant http://m6-it.org A PRINCE2 aware company Web services * Back-ups * Support * Training & Certification * E-Mail M6-IT CIC ``Software Freedom for the Education and Voluntary Sector'' M6-IT is a Community Interest Company, limited by guarantee Registered in England & Wales, Registration No: 6040154 11 St Marks Road, Stourbridge, West Midlands, DY9 7DT _______________________________________________ Tinyerp-users mailing list http://tiny.be/mailman/listinfo/tinyerp-users
