I unsdestand you installed both client and server on a vista computer. It slows down compared to XP. Did you check you have enough memory for vista ? What if you open also some heavy applications like open-office and gimp ? In case it's not memory attrition, how vista resolves "localhost" ? I'm not skilled in vista, so I hope I 'm not completely out of the topic. regards
