On the "Chart of accounts" I chose "United States - General" which shows up the first time I run the setup. I think it is left over from my other empty database because the next time I run it "United States - General" is not in the list for "Chart of accounts".
I then tried to use "None" and keep getting the same error. After your post, I tried it again and used "United Kingdom - .." that was in the list and it worked. Thanks for your help and the quick reply. By the way, I'm very impressed with TinyERP. My company has grown too large for QuickBooks and we have been looking for a new solution for some time. I looked at OpenBravo and was not impressed. It lacked any documentation and the setup process is very confusing. Same goes for Compiere. TinyERP was easy to install, has very good documentation, and although there is a learning curve to getting it setup, it is very easy to figure out. I really hope that I've finally found the solution that we need.
